Women in STEM Day

Women in STEM Day is an opportunity for high school girls
​to participate in a full day of engineering activities.

This was a completely free event for high school girls that featured:
– Pig heart dissection and simulation led by Abbott
– Panels led by engineers from Pepsi, Raytheon, Syska Hennessy Group, H2M and more!
– Keynote Speaker Diana Wu, Chief of Staff at Intel
– Engineering Olympics challenge building prosthetic hands using household items

SWENEXT

SWENext is a way for girls to become a part of the SWE engineering and technology community as students through the age of 18. SWENext is free to join and provides students access to programs, mentors, and resources designed to develop leadership skills and self-confidence to #BeThatEngineer. Although our program focuses on girls, all students are encouraged to join.
